PARTIAL ATTENDEE COMMENTS:
"Sandra, I am so
happy to tell you that one of your events has made a
real difference in my career! The workshop given by
on adapting books to screenplays and vice versa gave me
the information to land an agent for my book! I've just
completed the manuscript (well, the third draft) and my
agent is sending it out first week of May. --
As a director I found
this seminar incredibly valuable. Having sequencing
explained was like having a light bulb turned on. I
learned a lot of new and valuable terms and insights
which I'll use going forward. Thanks to
Sandra! -- MIKE B.,
What a phenomenal
seminar. I went not knowing what to expect and came away
feeling inspired and ready to polish my scripts. I
missed the last first two writing seminars and now I'm
kicking myself for it! MARILU
I attended the PITCH
to get some pointers on pitching my full-feature
scripts. In less than one week after taking this class,
I had the opportunity to pitch one of my scripts to
three executives at one time. After my three-minute
pitch was up, two of the tree executives requested
follow-up discussions that are still on-going. THANK YOU
SANDRA and SERITA! Your help and encouragement made it
all possible." ~ MARIANNE B.
"I have been to many
seminars and I have listened to several screenwriting
experts and gurus but never have I been so inspired and
captivated as I have been by
Seilhamer. Kimberly's passion, clarity and unique
techniques, engages the student with step by step
written guides and visual aids. Kimberly breaks down
once difficult techniques into simple exercises. From
one on one intensives to class settings, she is the
best! I highly recommend her classes to beginners and
experts alike. MAX
packed seminar! Even though I thought that I had firmed
up a number of my loglines, I've since gone back to
tighten most of them through the information given on
answered a lot of questions and laid out so much
information about Pitching. Serita was very prepared and
her handouts are real keepers. Thank you Sandra for
organizing another great Writers Workshop, what a gem!
-- KIMBERLY L.

amazing workshop! I can't wait for the next!! :) --
over delivered! :) Now when I think about my story lines
or have discussions in my writer's groups, I will have
the confidence and the organization to really laser my
verbal presentation. I am sooo appreciative to Sandra
for thinking about the needs of writers. I especially
loved the new time and location - didn't have to worry
about parking for 1 second! Nice to meet everyone - the
networking was very organic, check-in was easy peasy as
was registration. Can't wait to see everyone at the
picnic and at the December full-day learning event! :)
What a fantastic and
informative afternoon. So many of my questions were
answered regarding screenwriting. Thank you! --

I now understand why I got stuck on some scripts or felt
that it was lacking. I am feeling inspired again. Thank
you Kimberly! -- ELENA C.
So glad I took
advantage of this opportunity. Learned more than I ever
expected. Feel brought up to speed on what the industry
standards are now. Can't wait to get my screenplay
finished now. Kimberly, can't wait to buy your books."
Fantastic! A helpful
and practical lesson on screenplay format from someone
who clearly knows. -- XANDER
Fantastic meetup for
writing primer, experienced or novice. Learned much
about sequencing [from Kimberly Seilhamer], and movie
Se7en was a great example to break down. Will use my
notes. Had a great time networking after and meeting
creatives. Let's do this again! Maybe a class for
directors who are new to digital cameras. --
Lots of great
pearls. Thank you for spending your time preparing and
delivering this great training, Kimberly. --
